Methodology & provenance

A triage tool, not a forecast.

Ideas are presented for comparison before anyone commits serious time or money. Cost, benefit, BCR and confidence are directional notes; timing signals explain why an idea may deserve attention now.

InterventionThe practical change proposed, summarized as the signature move.
EconomicsRough cost, benefit and benefit-cost ranges for fast comparison. “Highest BCR” sorts by the upper end of the stated range.
Why nowDated signals supporting the timing of the mechanism, not just the problem.
ConfidenceEvidence strength, not certainty, popularity or a guarantee of results.
Causal mechanismThe lever that is intended to create change. Feed-supplied labels are shown as such; otherwise the SPA may derive a clearly marked local heuristic.
“Based on your browsing” uses click history stored locally in this browser. The Decision Desk is also stored only in this browser. Neither is a public popularity score or an outside consensus signal. Mechanism labels marked “Derived locally” are browser-side text heuristics for exploration, not source-authored metadata.
